Best decision we made so far. During my trips to Korea with family or friends, transport from the airport to our lodging is always the dilemna. Good thing I stumbled upon blacklink. we were able to book a service on the day of our arrival. Our driver, Mr Lee, on time. He was so helpful and very considerate. He inisisted that we go in the car where it warm and that he load our luggage in the van. He was also very patient. We mistakenly put in the wrong address on the registration as we couldnt understand Korean. He didnt drop us off the the wrong place. When that was sorted out, he brought us to our exact accomodation. He also made sure that we met with our host and got in our accomodations safe and sound. Thank you Mr Lee! Will definitely book blacklink again. it was value for our money and very convenient

It was my first time to visit South Korea, and was a bit worried about our transfers from Incheon International Airport to our hotel in Myeongdong as the schedule of our flight will arrive at SoKor quite late. No buses or trains available anymore during that time. Tried checking ride hailing apps but find it too expensive while deals from other travel booking sites but there were a lot of restrictions and add-ons. Good thing I came across Blacklink when I tried searching online. To be honest I was a bit hesitant since it is my first time to use the platform. Apparently, I was immediately relieved because they send email updates from time to time (payment confirmation, assigned driver and vehicle, etc). When we arrived, the driver is patiently waiting for us and assisted us with our luggages politely and willingly. With this, I also booked a vehicle through the platform for our transfer from the hotel to the airport. Will definitely use Blacklink again whenever I go back to South Korea. Great Job! So happy with the service. Plus, it's very efficient and convenient especially if you travel by group. -Carmina, Philippines

Mudeungsan National Park (무등산국립공원) is a mountain at the edge of Hwasun-gun, Damyang-gun and Gwangju. Mudeungsan Mountain (1,186m) features three rock peaks called Cheonwangbong, Jiwangbong, and Inwangbong, also known as the “Jeongsang Three."

Mudeungsan’s gradual slope makes it an easy climb for all. Locals once worshiped Cheonwangbong Peak as it was considered a mountain of God. Among the more majestic of these sites are the Seoseokdae, Gyubong, and Ipseokdae peaks. At the base of the mountain are several famous temples including Yaksaam, Jeungsimsa, and Wonhyosa. Mudeungsan Mountain is also known for its beauty throughout the year. The fall autumn leaves of Gyubongam and eoksae grass of Baekma Ridge are quite spectacular. In the winter, snow and ice on the mountain create exquisite scenery as well.

Below the mountain, there is a variety of recreational facilities and tourists sites for visitors. This includes Gwangju National Museum, a traditional Korean style building with exhibition space and artifacts on display. These items total 2,000 artifacts and include treasures excavated from the sea of Sinan, items from Honam province (made during the Seonsa, Baekje, and Silla periods), and paintings from the Joseon Period.

Damyang, located in Jeollanam-do, is not only famous for its bamboo trees, but is also for its tteokgalbi, or grilled short rib patties. Tteokgalbibonga, known for its signature tteokgalbi, has become quite famous in the area. With its exquisite resemblance to injeolmi (rice cakes coated with powdered soybeans) and the way it melts in your mouth, it’s no wonder Tteokgalbibonga attracts guests from as far as Japan.
Tteokgalbi gets its name from its resemblance to rice cakes, or tteok. In addition to its texture, its savory marinade brings out the meaty flavor of tteokgalbi. Aside from their main dish, hanu (Korean beef) tteokgalbi, they also have dwaejigalbi, bulgogi, and galbi tang available, served with regular side dishes of a Korean set menu, even including a dessert. Tteokgalbibonga is often crowded with customers that you’ll likely have to wait in line if you visit for during the evening.
